Our Isla Joy is 8 months old!
She has a new cheeky smile where she squints her eyes and smiles with her whole face, she has 8 TEETH! with 5 popping through at the same time and surprise surprise she handled it like an absolute champ! She smiles at other people at the shops before they smile at her, she loooves looking at pictures of herself and she’s currently obsessed with waving 🥹
When she cries now she has tears which breaks our hearts but at the same time my god it’s CUTE! and she absolutely adores animals and other children. We still get told every single time we go out that we just have the happiest and chillest lil babe and honestly, I concur. Her personality is growing and evolving every day and we’ve loved nothing more than watching every second of it. My gosh we are the luckiest parents, I do not wish this time away at alllll but I also can’t wait to see who she becomes 🥹🤍

She’s mastered Dadadada to the delight of Zac and the squeals that come out of her mouth make me think she was a dolphin in a past life. She will blow bubbles with her saliva which is hilarious, I remember sitting there for ages as a kid doing that and whenever she eats, miss independent must feed herself with her spoon. She loves sharing, a game of share the dummy before falling asleep is inevitable and the big sloppy kisses I’ve been getting melt my heart. Which is good cause she has also started scratching and slapping my face when she’s having a cry so honestly, lucky she’s cute. She’s sitting up like a pro Oh and she just casually can point out (specifically with her pointer finger) her favourite family members when you ask her where they are in her pictures on the fridge.
