Barrett Doss Instagram – To be young, gifted, and Black. This is an incredible loss. He shared his art with us generously and offered his leadership to us selflessly. I had the opportunity to work opposite Chadwick Boseman for a single day on the film “Marshall”. Only three scenes- I wasn’t there long. But while I was, he was so kind and so calm. So focused. So incredibly present. He radiated an incredible sense of peace, sensitivity, and power. He worked with so much certainty and confidence. And now we know how much strength he carried within him. As I reflect on my short time in Chadwick Boseman’s presence, and from all I’ve observed from admiring his work, I can only think of one quality that encompasses it all: Regal.
