Magnesium is an important mineral for our body and though present in abundance, it is also used in plenty.
It helps in regulating muscle and nerve function, maintaining blood sugar levels, stabilizing blood pressure and also for making protein, bone, and DNA.
Being the catalyst for sleep inducing melatonin it is essential that it is replenished periodically so as to help you relax, repair and rejuvinate.
I make sure I add a lot of magnesium rich foods in my everyday diet such as nuts like almonds and cashews, greens like spinach and corriender, pumpkins seeds, yogurt and even dark chocolate.
Many fruits such as banana, avacado, cantalope,kiwi, papaya and my current favourite, the dragonfruit also contain magnesium.
