As a soldiers daughter I witnessed up close the losses, the silence and many funerals. The brave hearts left behind those who must grieve until they live….I still remember my mom praying for the casualties to stop. My deepest gratitude to the @indianarmy.adgpi @indianairforce @indiannavy Indian armed forces, the heroes who withheld our nations honour, the supreme sacrifices of our brave hearts and their loved ones on who’s shoulders rests the glory of Mother India 🇮🇳 I must have done something right to be born 4th generation Indian army family. We were raised with the mindsets that our parents may not return from their jobs in the service of the nation. But it’s easier said than done. July 26 marks India’s victory over Pakistan in 1999 Honouring the bravery and sacrifices made by Indian soldiers during the intense and prolonged war. India lost 527 soldiers before the war ended on July 26, 1999. Today it has been 24 years of the victory.
