Home Actress Christy Turlington HD Photos and Wallpapers August 2023 Christy Turlington Instagram - Like so many other women of my age and generation, I grew up with Sinead O’Connor’s voice in my head. More than stirring thoughts in my head, her voice reverberated in my soul on a deeper level than any other music or voice at the time. I couldn’t understand then, that it was the pain and isolation in her sometimes wailing singing style that I was responding to. What was crystal clear was that she was always precise and deliberate with her voice and the way she used it, right up until the end. Sometimes stunning, sometimes shrill, it stung. To not feel when listening to her, is impossible to fathom. I never had the opportunity to meet Sinead or to see her perform live but we did connect briefly once. I was fortunate enough to reach out to her through her first husband John Reynolds who I met through mutual friends. I was working on a compilation of music by female artists who were also mothers to benefit @everymomcounts. The song I was hoping she would consider contributing was “This Is to Mother You,” but each artist who joined on to the project had their own ideas about which song was ultimately recorded. Instead, Sinead chose “Petite Poulet.” 🙏 Please give them both a listen if you get the chance. The yearning of both Mother and Child is a theme throughout her immense body of work. I finally watched the documentary “Nothing Compares to You,” directed by @kathrynferguson a month ago on a plane and was reminded of everything she gave me and how much her life and story represents the plight of women in the purest form. Rest easy, Mother with your Baby forever.

Christy Turlington Instagram – What an auspicious day to be visiting the Capitol today for the Black Maternal Health Caucus 2023 Stakeholder Summit!
I was invited to join many other maternal health advocates and leaders to join the calls to pass the #Momnibus and to share a few recommendations for building bipartisan Congressional support and momentum on behalf of @everymomcounts.
1. We believe Advocacy for Maternal Health is most powerful when it Centers the voices of Mothers and birthing people. We recommend that individuals who nearly lost their life during childbirth, or experienced mistreatment during their care, as well as families impacted by pregnancy or childbirth complications, be given the opportunity to testify. We need to elevate the stories behind the statistics by listening to Black women and ALL birthing people.
2. We call for Congress to meaningfully engage and partner closely with community-based organizations working to advance maternal health and birth equity to ensure that the most representative voices not only have a seat at the table but are leading these conversations. It is critical to support grassroots, community-led efforts to hold Congress accountable for passing the Momnibus.

Christy Turlington Instagram – Sharing some highlights from a very special @everymomcounts Learning Tour in Indonesia. It was an honor to moderate a panel at ICM’s 33rd Triennial Congress with @iburobin @nikiagrayson_midwife, @nehamanks. Three Badass Midwives who lead with love and purpose and are providing consistent, compassionate, human-centered, life-saving reproductive healthcare in their respective countries. We met up with our group of EMC supporters when they arrived in Bali and were hosted by Ibu Robin at @bumisehat where we saw this approach in practice throughout the clinic and across the entire staff. The following day, we all gathered in a circle to share our stories and journeys that led us here guided by @debrapascalibonaro at Robin’s Peace Kitchen. We also visited some incredible sites along the way, reconnected with old friends and made new ones before sealing our time together in Lombok where we received the warmest welcome by the staff at @bumisehatlombok. I’m leaving this trip with so many beautiful memories and experience filled with life lessons about relationships and trust that need some time to absorb. For now, I will simply say thank you to the beautiful, gracious people of Indonesia for providing these opportunities to learn and grow. 🙏
