She needs my protection now but I’ll see to it that, when she grows up, she can defend herself.
She can’t talk now but I’ll see to it that, when she grows up, she’ll know it’s her right to use her voice and loudly.
She can’t advocate for her needs now but I’ll see to it that, when she grows up, she doesn’t sacrifice them for the sake of pleasing others.
She’s happy wearing the clothes I put her in now but I’ll see to it that, when she grows up, she feels comfortable expressing herself in any way she wants.
