One of the biggest issues is AI. The AI fight in Hollywood right now is a microcosm of a much larger and critical crisis. We cannot just stand by and do nothing while AI is taking over our lives. This is very dangerous. Soulless AI created content for film and TV is just the beginning. Quoting our SAG-AFTRA president Fran Drescher “Artificial intelligence poses an existential threat to creative professions, and all actors and performers deserve contract language that protects them from having their identity and talent exploited without consent and pay. If we don’t stand tall right now, we are all going to be in trouble. We are all going to be in jeopardy of being replaced by machines” Are you worried about AI? What are your thoughts on this?
