Jade Thirlwall Instagram – After our Pride event we visited my hometown team @southshieldsfc where Stonewall ran workshops for the Men’s, Women’s, Academy and office teams. As honorary president I’m already proud to be a fan and support SSFC but I’m even more proud that they took the time to educate themselves further on LGBTQ+ inclusion and allyship within football. Safe spaces and inclusivity for all sports teams, individuals, staff members and supporters – across all sports environments – should be non-negotiable. It meant a lot that everyone truly engaged and wanted to understand more about the incredible work of Stonewall and exactly why we support their Rainbow Laces campaign ⚽️🏳️‍🌈
