Kerry Ingram Instagram – Happy wishbone day! Today is the day we wear yellow to raise awareness for #OsteogenesisImperfecta, a genetic condition I was born with that causes bones to break easily along with many other side effects and challenges.

The third picture is of me at 6 weeks old. There wasn’t much information on OI at the time, which led to my mum being accused of abuse before someone familiar with the symptoms recognised it and had a diagnosis. Doctors at this point had no idea which type I had either and all they said was “it can be fatal, if not she probably won’t be able to walk”

well I’m still here and walking! (Maybe even skipping if I’m feeling boujee) – which is thanks to the miracle that is modern medicine (not yoga, like someone on Instagram suggested… or milk, like someone on twitter suggested) – yikes🤦🏼‍♀️ Sending love to all my OI fam 💛
