We’re scared of getting cancelled, being misinformed, sounding silly or we feel intimidated by how complicated some issues are. So, let’s make it simpler. ❤️ Every Friday on the @unicornisland page, I’m going to break down the big issue of gender inequality, by sharing one small fact about it. Why? Because I’ve been on this journey for years now and I’ve seen first-hand how inaccessible this space can be. I’ve been to so many fundraisers, government gatherings, etc., and I’ve always felt that the majority of the planet would not comprehend what’s being discussed. Not because we’re not smart, but because sometimes it sounds like an exclusive language, full of stats, acronyms and ideas that are overly complicated and seldom explained. And that doesn’t set us up for success because we ALL need to be part of the solution. So consider @unicornisland a safe space to learn, discuss and ask questions.
