Discovered, RE-discovered, thanks to being at the Bangalore Poetry Festival, the joy of reading a poem every day.
The Hindi poetry session featured three wonderful women poets:
in picture, extreme left, is the marvelous Hindi poetess Anuradha Singh who read from her fabulous collection, उत्सव का पुष्प नहीं हूं, one of the several books I bought and had her autograph it.
Reading a poem or two every morning with my cup of tea, is akin to having a brief but profound and enlightening discourse with the poetess/poet herself/himself—
My morning tea time has now transformed into a sacred ritual….
