Nandita Das Instagram – Watched Goldfish last night with outstanding performances by @deepti.naval and @kalkikanmani… a mother-daughter story about memory and more. Sensitive and poignant. Thank you #pushankripalani and producer Amit Saxena. I was 18 when I first met Deepti di on the sets of Prakash Jha’s Parinati, though she has known Baba for long. She calls Baba da and I call her di! We worked together in Bawandar as co-actors and I was fortunate enough to direct her in my debut film, Firaaq. But more importantly, we have remained close friends. We have laughed about small things and moaned about the big ones. Last night was a celebration of her outstanding performance and our friendship. ❤️ Sharing a few I was sent of last night…
