Nandita Das Instagram – Under the weather. Cluttered mind. One of those days when you are so overwhelmed with work that you want to do nothing. On top of that it’s a Monday. Potentially it could be a Sunday if I wanted, but the way the work has piled up, Sundays better look like Mondays. Today my couch is my work space, lazy space, reflective space. I have been sitting around looking at the happy plants, the unread books, the yellow flowers brought by a dear sister like friend and the ceramic bird that’s staring at me from the corner of her eyes. The hand fans, dhokra figurines, lacquer toys from my father’s collection of crafts quietly give me company…all things have found their own little corner in the living room. The weather is adding to this homey feeling. What’s your advice to pull myself out and work?
