Nicholle Tom Instagram – I’ve been meaning to post this for awhile now but personally it’s just so personal to me that it’s been really hard to talk about and I wanted to tell Chesty’s nearest and dearest first. That said… Last November my baby boy Chesty Chew bounced gracefully across the rainbow bridge. It was one of the saddest yet magical days of my life. Horribly painful because I knew how much I’d miss his unconditional love, support and companionship. I brought him everywhere with me! He was a part of me. My soul baby. But I realized the day he passed that he’ll still always be with me. Just in a different way. When my friend Emily came over with her fiancé Robyn to send Chesty off properly. Emily and I were outside on my back patio when suddenly, the sky went dark. For a moment it was night and then it got so bright we had to look up to see what was happening with the sun! When we looked up, we saw this cloud blocking the sun. Now I know this might sound strange, but I swear it was Chesty! Floating as a cloud above us. Then the cloud literally transformed in front of us. First, it was his whole body and then his face turned towards us. I was like, “Jesus, Emily that cloud looks just like Chesty!” She laughed and immediately agreed! We kept watching it and the cloud then transformed into a million different Chestys. One with just his face and a heart off to the right of his head… One where he was jumping with his tongue hanging out… (See my pictures above.
