Phoebe Tonkin Instagram – A love letter to @the_original_fx_mayr 💌
I can’t really put into words how magical and special this past week was but I’ll try summarize some of the messages I’ve sent my friends over the past few days.
I didn’t really know what to expect, but someone who really cares about looking after myself and learning how to improve every aspect of my life, physically, mentally, and spiritually this was somewhere I had been dreaming of visiting.
And who better to experience this with than with my beautiful & inspiring @halolorraine ✨
For me this was more a playground than a retreat. Everyone comes here with a different purpose, my focus was unpeeling layers of some bad emotional habits which had manifested into having low focus, low energy, and a constant hum of anxiety that lingered even though my life is so (so) blessed. Today I left feeling grounded, energetic, sleeping without any pills (first time in 5 years) and I’ve began to remember how to nourish my body, my soul, my mind in synchronicity.
I read books, I swam in the lake, I meditated. But the most fascinating and surprising aspect was how in depth the medical work was. I felt like I was in a hospital but instead of treating sick people, the focus is preventative. What a privilege to be able to make sure everything, from my heart to my blood, was working well. And I got to shuffle from one appointment to the other in my slippers. What a dream. Thank you. And thank you to the beautiful warm staff who made me feel like I was so cared for, so supported, and in particular Dr Ursula. You are a spectacular force and I’m so lucky to have met you. Not only has a weight been lifted off my chest, but I’ve gained a protective and supportive loving energy around me that I will work hard not to lose again, as well as an immense amount of gratitude for my health ✨💛 see you next year (and every year after that) x ‘Phoebini’
