It’s funny to look at people who think I am simple minded and don’t understand that it’s exactly what they lack for success. They consider themselves the smartest persons in the world and always know who should do what and how. But when it comes to them, the excuses appear: «It’s not time yet”. They keep learning and learning, waiting, and waiting for the right time and right amount of knowledge. But the truth is it is a self-deceit. In fact, these people are not ready to act. No matter how many books they read or how many courses they take. Without practice and constant trials, none of this matters. Imagine how they feel seeing someone like me: who can just get an idea and implement it immediately. Because business is about acting, not thinking. I wanted – decided – started to act. This is exactly what 95% of the implementation of any of your ideas is. I don’t know / I’m afraid of something, but I do it, I try it and I take it. Polina Pushkareva Instagram – Sometimes starting over is the best option As you know, I have been developing my own underwear brand for 4 years. It’s the greatest and the most important project for me. This idea was born from a problem I faced myself. All underwear at the market is either oversexualized or poor quality and doesn’t fit well. And I want to create a brand that is both beautiful and comfortable. In this project I invested a significant amount of money, time, and mental health. I worked with two teams and today I’ve finally changed the team for the third time. I think it’s the best solution. New team launched Maison Margiela, Giambattista Valli, worked with Versace. Together we will make the brand even cooler and more ambitious. Now the plan is to immerse deeply in this business for the upcoming year. I will travel to Italy, engage in development, visit factories, and delve into all processes. And next year we will launch two collections at once: – couture collection, which we will present at the Fashion Week in Milan in February – the main collection, which will be released in April-May Nioly Underwear coming soon… Milan, Italy
