Home Actress Rukmini Vijayakumar HD Instagram Photos and Wallpapers August 2023 Rukmini Vijayakumar Instagram - Choreography doesn’t happen at a specified time in a specific location. Most of the time, it’s a decision to create… and then I just end up thinking about it the whole day… every spare moment. The technical part of breaking down rhythm is something that just needs to be done, and can be done in a specific time frame…., but the movement connections and the emotive intent is something that needs inspiration …. The choreography keeps changing until I decide…. And I let it change quite a lot. Whenever I have a thought… I take a grubby video that’s reference for me. Nothing fancy or pristine like you’re used to seeing on social media. (Sharing some of this grubbiness with you all) Just letting you all know that this is the process… that precision and clarity in performance comes from many many days of meditating on an idea…. As you can see a lot of the choreography happens when I’m watching tv with my husband, or have entered the gym for training, or in grocery stores, or in the living room…. Kitchen at night. I do have designated times in the studio…. But it’s not necessary that it will be a fruitful session…. So here are some BTS for my tour with @ambisub starting in August. We will be in cities across the USA, performing for @aimforsevausa . So come watch us in a city near you. Link in my bio. (Didn’t add music… to keep it real….because I’m mostly thinking the music in my head when choreographing and saying rhythm loudly for the video reference… for later) You can all ask questions about choreography. I’ll try to respond to as many as possible. #choreography #bts #bharatanatyamdancer #bharatanatyam #indiandancer #grubbydancer

Rukmini Vijayakumar Instagram – Kong has to learn new things everyday, otherwise he gets bored. Today he learned to jump over my back. He learned the hula hoop jump last week… he loves playing with it… and today on first try, he jumped over my back… ♥️

Maybe I’ll be able to do some choreography with him in the next couple months 😂

Morning rituals…
Walk with kong… and tea on the swing as we watch people… and life in general…

After a while he falls asleep curved around me like a neck pillow and I listen to music for my creative work or respond to emails/ messages etc

I didn’t have a relaxed morning routine before Kong. I’d rush out of the house early for class, with barely any time to think or gather myself. I’d even go for my training at 4:30 am, so that I could make it to class at 6:30 am after training.

But I’ve realised that it’s important to slow down sometimes and make space for myself. I like my morning routine now.

I had to do the early training, classes, teaching etc at that point in time, but I realised that it’s also important to accept that we need to do different things at different points in time. I had to learn to let go of some things to make space for new things.

Neither is wrong… it was necessary at one point in time. It’s just not necessary anymore.

😊

(And before I get hundreds of comments…. Yes I’m tired today. I’ve been working non stop, and some days I’m tired. But I have lots of work to do today – which I will do. No – I didn’t want to use a filter. I’m not unwell. It’s normal for everyone to have some puffy eyes on some days. I don’t wake up with make up and bright eyes and in a saree everyday ♥️)
