Soak 1 large cup tur dal for 20 minutes.
Pressure cook well with haldi and salt. Whisk well.
Place it on heat and let it boil. Add ginger and green chilli paste, peanuts, gur/jaggery, kokum.
Give a tadka of plenty of ghee, mustard seeds, methi seeds, whole jeera, 6/7 cloves, a two inch piece of cinnamon, curry leaves and hing. Add to dal. Simmer.
Prepare a medium soft dough of whole wheat flour, add 2 teaspoons of ajwain seeds, red mirchi powder, haldi, salt and oil.
Rest it for 20 minutes and roll out thin large rotis. Cut into diamond shapes and drop into simmering dal. Cook!
