Sayani Gupta Instagram – There are people who you meet in this life who expand your world, your beliefs, your values & horizon just a little more.. leave an impact that go beyond the duration of time you’ve spent with them. I’ve wanted to work with this man.. this giant of a storyteller.. for over a decade. Waited patiently.. and perhaps manifested it ever so subconsciously. And then I got the opportunity to be in his film. And through the process of making this film.. spending time around him.. observing him from close and afar.. I realised what a generous glorious grounded artist actually should look like. KG as we call him.. is an anomaly. His patience, wit, humour, perception, politics, grace, humility, warmth and wisdom tower over one and all. Every day I found myself being ever so moved by the innocence and wonderment this man has.. by how he has this enormous ability to see everything.. watch so intently, while processing everything/everyone with a keen intuitive perception.. his mind sharp as laser but his heart warm, soft and light like a marshmallow! How he canopies over everyone like a father, a brother, a leader.. like a massive Banyan tree whose roots go deeper than what meets the eye. He stands there firm and tall, taking everything in.. facing the storm.. but only exuding warmth like a beam of Sunlight.. like a ray of Hope!
