I recall prepping for months to make that kind of an expenditure, the money calculation I ran in my head & the chats I had with my family before going ahead with it. The memory becomes even sweeter because each luxury purchase has been a gift to myself on special occasions from the money I earned. As much as I would want to hold onto these forever for emotional reasons, I am choosing the path of making mindful choices where I’ve decided to part ways with things I don’t need anymore or I’ve grown out of, things that have some redundancy in my closet.
