Suhani Dhanki Instagram – Last week, amidst betting outlets and fish shops, an oasis of South Asian classical & contemporary arts – Anhad Festival – sprung up in @bellsquareldn, courtesy of the brilliant @mirakaushik. Passing audiences, strangers and friends were treated to the best South Asian arts & artists- everything from traditional Kathak & Bharatanatyam to Yakshagana, Mohiniattam, Sufi music, Bollywood dance, poetry, puppetry & even opera! Ever so grateful to have played a small part in the event as MC with the wonderful @suhani8 and @kathakashwini. Sharing just a few of the glimpses I managed to catch through the 7-hour long event but you really need to see it in person to believe it!
