There’s so many answers to that one question. Does the truth of that answer Render my whole life a lie? “No, where do you come FROM?” Would that be where lives my body or where lives my heart? Is that for you the red line That reassuringly sets us apart? “Well you must know where you’re from?” Would that be the place where I earn, or the one for which I yearn? If I said I come from the same place as you Would that make your stomach turn?
