Our Baby Shower:). It was such an amazing feeling to have our families host a baby shower for us and to spend great time with our loved ones. Robert and I get more and more excited with everyday. To our friends and family- thank you for sharing in this journey with us and for making sure this baby knows just how loved they already are. We had a good good time! p.s. this dress choice is hinting at nothing. I honestly just liked the color. 🤗😉 #babyshower

Ron Cephas Jones. The first time I ever saw this great artist’s work was in a play called The Overwhelming. He was magical, powerful really. I didn’t know I would have the pleasure of sharing the stage with Ron just two short years ago.
What a titan.
So beloved by our community, and a genius with his craft; he would share his wisdom and knowledge about this art we all so deeply, deeply love. But, more he shared with us his heart. Generously. Ever a teacher, we all learned so much from Ron, and we continue to carry his lessons. It is that knowledge that helps me know he will be with us. forever.

National Girlfriend Day. This is from my traditional wedding with my Aso Ebi(bridesmaids and brides men!). I have been blessed in this life to have women who are truly inspirational to me. Whether blood sisterhood, elementary school, college, audition rooms, cast mates, teammates, roommates, suite mates. We have seen much in this life, the shadows and the light, and I am just thankful to have walked through those moments with you. Really truly. My Girl Natasha. I came to NYC in the Spring to see @natashayvettewilliams in @somelikeithotmusical but alas, my roommate🤰🏾had other plans(#IYKYK). But, I FINALLY got to see her and this show and it was a JOY. Natasha is one my very first friends in this business. Everyone who knows Tasha knows the pure love, heart, GOOD, talent, kindness, and faith that comes from her. It is never ending. We have seen so much life together- helping move, marriage, first homes, debuts, births, loss, Happy times, and really hard times.
I love this woman. So much. And to see her work in this show was a must. Natasha is brilliant. But, to know that it was deservedly recognized with a Tony Award Nomination could only match what we who know and love you, Tash, have always known: you are a star for The Ages. What an incredible performance you gave. Incredible. Congrats to everyone on that stage working. You were all fantastic. It was wonderful to watch the excitement we all love of the big Broadway show brought so beautifully, and effortlessly, into the modern age. Love you, Tash!!!! XxoU #theaterkid
