‘DOI BOY’ depicts the life of Sorn, a Shan sex worker and undocumented refugee in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Sorn’s life takes an unforeseen twist when he is drawn into a complex relationship with one client, ultimately leading him to dark and unexpected life circumstances.

I’m thrilled about my first feature film with an amazing team. After the shooting last year, the day has finally come. ‘DOI BOY’ will have its World Premiere at the Busan International Film Festival in the ‘Jiseok’ competition section. @busanfilmfest
‘DOI BOY’ is about Sorn, an ethnic Shan sex worker, copes with his bitter reality in Chiang Mai, Thailand by imagining himself in his clients ’lives. He is drawn into a complex relationship with one client, an investigator probing a political activist, even as he tries to build a future of his own as a refugee far from home.
