I’ve been working on this metal project Eonothem in earnest since 2017, tapping back into the 13-year-old I was when I first picked up the guitar; getting back to my roots in heavy guitar music and the prog classics that make up my DNA (Rush & Pink Floyd), while also getting inspired by new and old doom metal and other genres. I had a bunch of material recorded but I was on the lookout for an awesome drummer who could take these from demos to real tunes. I started living in Vermont and, as fate would have it, posting an Appa drawing connected me with the incredible, multi-talented Urian Hackney. We started jamming at his studio, The Box, and formed a great friendship and musical bond. I still can’t believe he plays drums on this stuff… He’s a living legend. Brian Starley mixed and Nick Townsend mastered the hell out of these four instrumental tracks and I couldn’t be happier with the results. THUNDERSNOW is the first in a series of EPs for Eonothem, so stay tuned for more… ❄️🖤⚔️⚒️🖤❄️
