Because this one includes 73 new social housing apartments – even though it’s being built by private developers.
And today we’ve announced we’re going to make this happen far more often.
We’re setting up new loans to encourage developments just like this one which will include homes for Victorians who need them most.
It means when developers and investors are deciding what to build, it’ll make more sense to include social housing.
It’ll add another 6,000 social and affordable to the thousands we’re building as part of the Big Housing Build.
