In that moment, absolutely everything changes.
And nothing really can prepare you for it.
First comes the rush of love, the adrenaline.
And then the sleepless nights – and frankly, a bit of anxiety.
That’s why we’re helping set up new dad groups.
They’ll be places for new dads to get together, share their experiences, and help each other out.
Just like mums groups, they’ll focus on things like bonding, self-care, and gender equality in parenting too.
Some groups already exist, and we’re helping make sure there are groups for dads across the state.
Applications for grants to start a group open tomorrow.
