These past three years gave me so much more than I ever could have imagined when i stepped into the first audition back in May 2020. Looking back, i realize now how scared and desperate I was to make this right, to tell this story in a way that it deserves to be told. I think we all were. But Rojda grabbed my hand and guided me through it. Lisa was steadfast and made sure we always saw the tonality before us, something that can very easily get lost along the way. Martin and Lisa has always, always been a huge support for the cast and crew. Helped us through pandemics, performance anxiety and conflicting schedules. I can’t emphasize enough how majestic the process of shooting these 3 seasons has been. Every single individual who’s worked on Young Royals has done so in the most extraordinary way every single day. The teamwork behind this show is the real work of art. I will forever hold that part of this experience very close to my heart. And to the people who I first considered simply my insanely talented cast mates but now consider some of the people closest to me: You mean everything to me. It’s been a gift working alongside you and learning from you, and I can’t wait to do it again. I wouldn’t be who i am today without you. This show has taught me so much, about art and my craft. But more importantly, it’s taught me a lot about who i am. I grew up here. It’s given me relationships i couldn’t even dream of❤️ As I now leave Wille alone I want you to know that we gave it all this last season, and I hope you’ll enjoy it🫶🏻 It’s impossible to capture what I feel in one single message, i think it’s gonna take some time, and that’s ok. We made history. 💜
