Fiann Smithwick Instagram – This is a nautilus fossil I found a few years ago on the Jurassic Coast. It took a while to chisel it out of a rock that had fallen from the cliff but was worth the effort! It didn’t split perfectly, but I like the way it reveals the inner parts of the shell. Around 168 million years old.
