Fiann Smithwick Instagram – A beautiful and very large pyrite ammonite I found recently on Charmouth beach on the Jurassic Coast. This one will be close to perfect when I clean it up!
To me, there’s nothing more exciting than uncovering a natural treasure like this that’s been hiding for nearly 200 million years. Being the first person to ever see a fossil like this is always humbling.
