Brought to life through the lens of @nikkireed Thank you for building this place. Places like this are treasures. National treasures. Amazing lyrical landscapes, running around with this crew in search of (and finding) inspiring biodynamic wines. Faces caked in sunblock as my tired pale being rejuvenated in the warm sun shine. I needed this. We all do sometimes. At Mattei’s Tavern you feel history but with subtle modern elegance. I got some quiet time strategizing and reformatting to focus on what is most important. Family, health/wellness, the new film and bourbon all strung together in one long and every-playing melody. Thank you @aubergeresorts for making this a place of peace, wonder and effortless class as it has been since Felix Mattei built and opened the doors with his wife in 1886 here in the vibrant Santa Ynez Valley.
