Ian Wright Instagram – Today’s #WrightysHouse mailbag had a question about Jadon Sancho. I say this like I would say it to Jadon. I have no issue with anyone critiquing his performances or lack of goals / assists. I’m sure he’d be the first to say it’s nowhere near the levels he knows he can perform at. But now it’s gone away from football and it’s become very personal. I know how this feels. A big portion, if not the majority of my career was covered in this way. It was only a few weeks ago I had to review all the old hacking articles to see how I was portrayed, maybe that is still a bit raw in this video when I see these kind of comments and pieces. So yes, I feel for him, probably more than most because I know exactly what it’s like to be on the other side. I used to sit with that frustration and it came out in many ways. The only thing that works now is to talk this through together.
