It’s SO easy for players to see a problem or situation completely differently in their own heads or inventing their own red herrings.
My tip is to go one step further than you want to when describing puzzles or problems for players to solve to ensure they have enough information to dissuade their imagination from filling in all the blanks! Unless that’s the idea of course 😉
