I actually have a crick in the back of my neck because she sits on it like a cat. I definitely learned some new words and I absolutely love this man. I cherish any time we have together. Btw the #academymuseum has a great new exhibit called Pope of Trash which covers John Waters’s stellar and brilliantly raunchy career. Check it out if you can.❤️

I’m a little late on Barbiemania but a little known fact is I once played Ken in Tom Petty’s 1995 Phil Joanou directed video for “You Don’t Know How It Feels.” I was thrilled to get the gig as I was 23 or 24 and it was one of my first things. Tom Petty was cordial and genuine to everyone working, though a few of us did get in trouble with the producers for leaving the set at lunch to smoke weed. Not a smoker but I was that day.🤷🏻♂️ Anyway had a ball making it but was crestfallen when the video came out and saw that Ken, Barbie and the entire background was out of focus. 🤣 Here’s a couple of shots from the video. You can barely make out Ken and Barbie kissing in the first and in the second we foreshadow the wrecking ball at the end of Jackass Number Two. Good times.

Every now and then I come across a near perfect video and this is one of them.
