The minute we pulled up to Fenway Park I got in the spirit. Something about the green and red and how perfect both hues sit next to one another. The line was deep and the energy from the people of Massachusetts was palpable. The Boson accent is one of my favorites in the entire world. I hear it right away and know I’m in my 2nd home. I grew up spending summers in Grafton Massachusetts, playing whiffle ball in my Grandparents backyard and battling the humidity with frequent trips to the pool. We use to drink Polar Orange by the liter and it’s where I was first introduced to Salt and Vinegar Lays which will forever slap. Last night, as all nights playing in Boston, it felt like a homecoming. The MGM at Fenway was maxed out with 2nd cousins, drunk Irish relatives and 5,000 people screaming every word. I love it. I felt the need to tap in even more before the show and really get present. The stakes just felt higher than most nights.
