Reid Miller Instagram – TW • This scene in my film Joe Bell, where I’m desperately calling friends and family for help during a mental health crisis, is by far one of the most difficult scenes I’ve had to shoot to this day. The scene, and the entire film, required the upmost honesty and vulnerability, which taught me some of the most important lessons about acting and what it’s really about: Living. Being present in the moment. Living and breathing the scene and the character. Shutting your brain off and allowing the work you’ve done to show as well as let the scene and the character who’s shoes your filling take you on a journey. There were many scenes where the crying and emotional turns were completely unscripted, I was just taken away by the scene, the script, my scene partners, and the character 🖤💙 #joebell #joebellmovie
