Ryan Carnes Instagram – I neglected my rear deltoids for a while. My neck, traps, and back paid the price. They must be activated in order to properly assist in a myriad of upper body movements that will otherwise put undue stress on other muscles not meant to bear such a burden.
Here I did 3 drop sets of 10-12 reps, and went heavier on my last set. Ever since I began incorporating rear delt movements back into my workouts, my back and neck pain have vanished.
