Vincent Laresca Instagram – #sagstrike I can say as an actor for the past 32 years & member of #sag residuals were what allowed me to keep going when times were rough(most of time). It was shows like #lawandorder New York under cover which were the only shows shooting at the time in nyc when I started. If u did a guest spot you could survive for the year with residuals. If you did a part in a box office hit you could make some decent money from residuals. Since streaming we get very little. The truth is I started my own business many years ago because I saw the reality of a working actor today would not be feasible to have a quality of life. Even a very successful one at that.
