Bethany Hamilton Instagram – Ok this post is strictly for my non surfer followers. 😂🤙🏼 If you ever listen to surfers, you might catch a few weird words.  So here’s a quick run down on some common surf lingo! – Bailing: letting go of the surfboard, usually when a wave is gonna hit you.  – Barrel: where a wave curls over onto itself, making a tunnel (THE BEST FEELING IN THE WORLD) – Stoked: feeling excited, pumped, amped up – Duck diving: pushing a board under a breaking wave – Gnarly: can mean really awesome or really brutal (or both!)
