I believe @josie_chooselove is a modern day saint. And as founder of @chooselove, Josie and her team continue to do remarkable work for humanitarian aid. Honestly, she blows my mind. Every time I share space with the women, every part of me lights up. Soz Jose, I sound like a creep but it’s truuuuue. Thursday night was no exception . Another 22k raised!!!
I want to say Thank you to the team at Manzi’s, and @thewolseleyhospitalitygroup for hosting such a beautiful evening – the food was so lush! And to @michaelhennegan (so fit) and his team for bringing us all together.
And Baton. Who has his own incredible story of arriving in the UK in the back of a cement truck, as a refugee from Kosovo. Baton has became the youngest CEO in the high end hospitality industry.
The most incredible example of what people can achieve if given the chance.
Always choose love. Choose to see the humanity behind the headlines. Displacement is the issue of our time- there are currently 100 million displaced people around the world, so the need for support has never been so great.
