Camille Chalons Instagram – 怎麼表達對於楊德昌導演的崇拜？反反覆覆，我一直想不到對的用詞，感覺我再怎麼說都配不上他電影的偉大，一切是無法用言語表達的。「一一」，「恐怖份子」，「牯嶺街少年殺人事件」… 他的電影是多麼深深的影響著我。
感謝臺北市立美術館的邀請，讓我可以參加《一 ㄧ重構-楊德昌之夜》
2023/07/22 – 2023/10/22楊德昌導演回顧展在北美館舉行。現場搜集無數的手稿，以七個子題帶出楊導創作生涯的不同面向。另外還有首度曝光的重要文獻與影音檔案，包含未完成動畫長片手繪稿和尚未實踐的眾多計畫，讓電影迷可以靠近楊導獨特的電影世界。
韋納·赫佐格 導演曾說過：「楊導的作品有世代的氣息，從來不會變老」。透過展覽讓我們一起跨越時空，回顧台灣電影圈歷史性的重要時期。

I find it very intimidating, if not clumsy, to put my appreciation of Edward Yang’s films into words – to try and express how deeply affected I am for days, if not weeks, after watching his work. It is a tough exercise to speak about something that you know in your guts to be outstandingly greater than you.
The current exhibit at the Taipei Art Museum gathers the most intimate of his diaries, pictures, movie props, sketches and drawings – therefore not only paying tribute to Edward Yang, but also creating a space for fans of his and of Taiwanese New Wave to drink in bits and pieces of one of the greatest eras of Cinema.
Werner Herzog put it beautifully: “his films are breathing, they do not age”. And how powerful it is, to bathe in such vibrant youth.
