Elizabeth Blackmore Instagram – Sometimes life takes a very unexpected turn. 3 weeks into rehearsals for ‘In the Next Room’ I fell while on a bushwalk and ended up breaking the three bones of my ankle (trimalleolar fracture), severing the ligament and dislocating it just for good measure. So instead of stepping into the theater to open the show, I was in the operating theater being fitted with plates and screws so I’ll be able to walk again. I am forever grateful to the amazing medical team here in Perth, my family, friends, wonderful husband and the amazing cast & crew of ‘In the next Room’ who take the stage tonight for their first preview. A huge shout out goes to the incredible Rebecca Davis who took on the mammoth role of Catherine Givings without hesitation and is bound to blow your socks off. Please, get out and see the show, it’s a special one X
