Elle Newlands Instagram – Last post from the weekend and it’s an appreciation one. None of the conventions, none of the signings, or the fun stuff I get to do as an actor would be possible without the community and the fan base that love the games and the shows. Walking onto the main stage at ALGS was without a doubt the absolute pinnacle of my career so far. The energy of the crowd and the enthusiasm and excitement of the gamers I met all weekend will stay with me forever. Thank you for this. Thank you for giving me a career that I absolutely love and for welcoming me into a community that has held me in such warm regard as a human (not just my character) since Horizon dropped. You will never know what this means to me. The past few years of being in the Apex community have given me a sense of purpose and self confidence that I needed to learn to embrace. I was completely overwhelmed with emotion at this full circle moment that came from experiencing ALGS in my home turf. I could go on but I won’t. Please know that your kindness and support means the world and you give the voice actors that you follow the loveliest reflection of how art and creativity heals and teaches everyone. Thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏
