Florence Pugh Instagram – To be given not only a cover but awarded ‘The British Icon’ by Elle Style Awards was not how I expected my summer to end. It was a piece I was really able to reflect and appreciate all those that had pushed me forward, protected, supported, followed, encouraged to get me to where I am now and to be able to be who I am now. I was thrilled to have @jodiesmith interview me, where we discussed it all. Where she was being not only full interviewer at work on zoom but also full mum at work at the same time. Another reason why I’m not surprised I bow down to her and her greatness so easily! To the crew that filled the studio with humour and light during that shoot at a very strange time for all, thank you. The strikes have been important but hard on not only those who it is for, but all who are affected around it. Thank you for talking and sharing and laughing on that day.
