Six months after my breast implant operation in 2013 my health deteriorated to a point where I was suffering from several symptoms including hair loss, blurred vision, brain fog, night sweats, severe panic attacks, and having to sleeping for 18 hours a day.
I struggled to get a diagnosis as Breast Implant Illness is not currently recognised as an official medical condition.
Thousands of women across the UK have joined online support groups also stating they suffer from similarly debilitating symptoms.
I’m determined to raise awareness on this issue and I am so thankful to get the opportunity to do this documentary. It goes out on ITVBe at 9pm on 13th October and will be available on the ITV Hub after.
