Last 2 years of living with her in mumbai have been so comforting. We met 7 years ago at @thetiarapageanttrainingstudio and instantly hit it off! But that’s Tanwi for you, she can hit it off with everyone. She makes everyone feel heard and wanted. With all the increasing travel adventures she has had this year, she is always on the run. This year, I’ve realised how lucky I am that this beautiful woman is my roomie, that I get to spend the maximum time with her on her free days. Why lucky you may ask? It’s because Tanwi makes life 20 times better for everyone by just being in it. There are a lot of things to like about Hemal. She is super warm, and makes you feel wanted. She is a young girl in her twenties, but very driven towards her goals and her craft (she is an actor). She is a natural leader, and you can feel her presence whenever she is in a room. She does not get overawed easily.

We were walking down the steep stairs of Kelingking beach in Nusa Penida, and I asked her to pose and every second, she would change her expression, or posture or play with her hair, and look a million bucks. Half an hour later, we were all sweating in the heat at the beach, and again as I began to click her, she kept giving one stunning shot after another, all in the matter of seconds. This girl whom I have known for 2-3 months now, and have always found mad, funny, super cute, suddenly looked drop dead gorgeous in each frame.

But amid all these qualities she has, the one I love most about her is her fierce protectiveness, warmth and loyalty for those closest to her. The way she can gush about her closest, the way she looks out for them, the way she takes care or feels about them, tells me how pure this girl’s heart is. Hemal is a lot of things, but first she is an amazing friend to have.

Reflecting on the past week, amidst all the chaos, there was a beacon of love and support that kept me going strong. On the first anniversary of our Pilates studio in Kolhapur, July 18th, 2023, my heart was filled with overwhelming joy as I received a precious video all the way from Bali, from none other than my incredible sister. Her words of congratulations and pride touched the deepest corners of my soul, making this milestone even more cherished.
Having someone as inspirational and motivational as my sister in my life is a true blessing. She’s been my unwavering pillar of strength, always there to lift me up, to believe in my dreams, and to push me towards greatness. She invested not just her resources but her heart and soul into making this studio stand tall, and I am forever indebted to her for believing in me and my vision.
This journey hasn’t been easy, but her constant encouragement and support have been the driving force behind my determination to persevere. From the late-night calls filled with encouragement to the heartfelt pep talks before important decisions, she’s been my guiding light every step of the way.
To my sister, the most amazing investor, but even more importantly, the most loving and caring person I know, thank you will never be enough. Your belief in me has given me a clear vision and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to share this journey with you.
