It’s recognised as World Suicide Prevention Day every year. This is not an event where we scare you about suicide. Its heavy and sensitive but it’s not dreadful. It’s to make people aware that each and everyone can do small things and big things (whichever we want) to make someone who struggling feel less alone. To notice and do our little bit towards bringing back hope to someone’s life. There are so many people who have thoughts about suicide and feel isolated and alone and scared. They don’t have to. They’re probably sitting next you, are someone you love or someone you meet quite frequently. For them and for yourself, I urge you to lift the veil over this topic. Let’s be less scared together.
