I am so proud to have the privilege of sharing some exciting news. We filmed “Your Lucky Day” in a little over two weeks in December of 2021 and the film will have its world premiere at Fantastic Fest this Saturday, September 23rd. I have the huge honor & privilege of being there! But I would like to take a moment to acknowledge that I do not take this chance to celebrate & promote our film lightly given the current state of our industry. I’m grateful to have the chance to celebrate the work of all of us who made this truly independent film. I am grateful to celebrate one of Angus’ final (and extraordinary) performances. But with all that being said, my heart weighs for so many of my fellow actors who are not able to celebrate their projects on a public scale due to the leadership failure of the AMPTP. I hold hands with you all & with our writers. I go to bed every night hoping the AMPTP is ready to do the right thing so we can all get back to work. I feel incredibly lucky to share this news with you all. Cheers to @yourluckydayfilm, to Angus, to indie filmmaking. To writers, to actors.
