Louise Brealey Instagram – SELF-PUBLICITY KLAXON! Chuck Chuck Baby’s journey has begun. We are very excited to be a part of the Cannes Great Eight, a showcase of the very best British films this year. (Aftersun was on last year!) What a thrill. I’ll be up in Liverpool filming an outrageously bleak new comedy so I can’t get my glad rags on and join them in Cannes but I will be ordering fish soup with a floating cheesy crouton and a bottle of Rosé for auld lang syne. (I spent my twenties commando rolling under tent flaps into VIP sections of Cannes parties as a film journalist.) It makes me very bloody happy to think that our joyful film full of heart and songs will be playing there. 💙
