If I ever get to be half the actor these two (Sarah Lancashire and Siobhan Finneran) are, and work on a show of such caliber of storytelling, created/written by a woman Sally Wainwright (the ambiguity with which she writes her characters is brilliant), and also produced by a woman, Jessica Taylor, I will die an even happier artist.
WOW!
I’m so grateful for artists who are still focused on the craft and on creating entertainment of such depth and humanity.
THIS is truly FEMALE EMPOWERMENT on and off the screen.
Just storytelling at it’s best!!!!
